Meet Seona Beattie

Seona Beattie, BSc, BHS (Hons), MHSc, PGDip

Intern Psychologist - Warkworth Clinic

Seona is a warm, fun, and friendly intern counselling psychologist with a particular interest in collaborating with neurodivergent children and adolescents, and their families, to help them thrive in life. She applies compassionate, strengths-based and somatic movement oriented approaches to her practice. With prior qualifications in human nutrition, and physiology, Seona takes an holistic lens to supporting wellbeing and overcoming challenges.

Seona has been active in her community as a support worker for young adults with autism and physical disabilities, empowering them to develop social, emotional, and personal skills

Professional Qualifications
- Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Psychology (in progress) with Auckland University of Technology
- Masters of Health Science (Psychology) with Auckland University of Technology
- Bachelor or Health Science (Honours - 1st Class) in Psychology with Auckland University of Technology
- Bachelor of Science (Double Major in Human Nutrition and Physiology) with Massey University
