Meet Jennifer Lee

Jennifer has experience working with children, young people, and families across a range of settings in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Jennifer is known for her authentic and warm nature, helping her clients feel genuinely heard and valued. She creates compassionate spaces where people feel safe to navigate the difficulties and complexities of life at their own pace.

Jennifer’s experience includes working with children, young people, and families in mental health services within the NHS in the United Kingdom. In New Zealand, she has worked for Ministry of Education and within the primary care sector providing therapy. She has experience working with a range of difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsion disorders, trauma, body dysmorphia, and emotional dysregulation. Jennifer has worked extensively with neurodivergent young people.

Jennifer values working collaboratively with people and helping them to make sense of their experiences, rediscover their strengths, and build stronger connections with themselves and others. Her approach draws upon a range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, ACT, and DBT which she adapts flexibly to suit the needs of the individual.
