The Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA) has announced Dr Sarah Watson as its inaugural Director to New Zealand.
Originally only Australian but now Australasian, AADPA is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting professionals working in the ADHD space.
In 2024, it was responsible for the widely lauded evidence-based ADHD Clinical Practice Guideline for ADHD & Prescribing Guide. They are Australasian leaders in education, training, advocacy, research and policy development for professional ADHD practice with the overarching aim of enhancing lifetime outcomes for individuals with ADHD and their families.
Dr Sarah is “honoured and excited to work alongside AADPA representing New Zealand and professionals in the Australasian ADHD space”.
Looking forward to more positive change in ADHD professional care across Australasia.” Sarah also holds roles as the Clinical Advisor for ADHD New Zealand, is on the ADHD governmental reference group and is the Founder & Managing Director of Totally Psyched! a clinic specialising in neurodivergent care.
She also regularly provides professional development to education and mental health staff across NZ.
