Parent and Family Support
One-on-one Parent Support and whole-whānau Family Therapy - practical guidance and support for parents, caregivers and families.
Get in touch
Whether you need a space of your own to navigate your child's diagnosis and behaviour, or your whole whānau could benefit from working through things together, we offer both individual Parent Support and Family Therapy - tailored to what your family needs right now.
Parent Support
Parenting a child or teen who's struggling - whether with big emotions, a new diagnosis, behavioural challenges, or family conflict - can be overwhelming. Parent Support gives you a dedicated space to be heard, get practical guidance, and feel more confident and equipped at home, covering things like understanding your child's diagnosis, communication and boundary strategies, navigating family conflict, looking after your own wellbeing, and coordinating care with school and other clinicians.
Family Therapy
Sometimes it's not just one person who needs support - it's the whole whānau. We offer Narrative Family Therapy, which helps families re-author unhelpful stories about themselves and each other, and Systemic Family Therapy, which looks at the patterns and relationships within the family system as a whole. This can be a good fit when conflict, communication breakdowns, or a shared challenge are affecting the whole household, not just one child.
