What we do

How We Can Help

Totally Psyched is a multi-disciplinary team of child and adolescent mental health specialists - psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and play therapists - working together for your family.

Self-referrals are always welcome, alongside referrals from GPs, schools and other professionals.

Still unsure?

Ready to talk but not sure where to start?

That's okay - most families who contact us feel exactly the same way.

You don't need a diagnosis or a referral - just tell us a bit about what's going on, and our team will help you work out what kind of support fits best, whether that's an assessment, ongoing therapy, or simply a conversation to figure out your options.

How it works

From your first message to your first appointment, here's what to expect.

1

Get in touch

Fill out our online contact form to start the conversation - no referral required.

2

Referral

Our referrals team sends through the right paperwork, including consent forms and a developmental questionnaire. For clients under 16, we need consent from both legal guardians.

3

Triage and recommendations

A Senior Clinical Psychologist personally reviews every referral, usually within about two weeks, and recommends the service that fits best.

4

Welcome

We book your appointment. Some services need a deposit and a pre-assessment questionnaire completed beforehand.

We're not a crisis service

Totally Psyched is not a crisis or urgent care service, and we can't support high or acute levels of risk.

If you or someone you love is in danger right now, call 111 or contact your local mental health crisis team straight away.
